Follow this simple guide to forward your purchases from China to Singapore using our service:

1. Sign up for a Cargo2SG account. Please  WhatsApp us and then we will send you the registration information shortly.

2. Shop on Taobao or other e-commerce platforms and have the seller deliver your items to our China Guangzhou warehouse

3. Submit a shipping order through your Cargo2SG account

4. Make payment for the shipping fee. You can pay by SGD.  You can find the payment information after signing up. 

5. Receive your parcels at your address in Singapore

Sea Shipping with Cargo2SG

• Charged by volume, not weight: Sea shipping fees are based on volumetric size (L × W × H in meters), measured in cubic meters (CBM), not actual weight.

• We frequently update shipping fees.  Thus, please WhatsApp us to request the latest shipping fee information.

• Minimum volume: Submit your sea shipping order once your total volume reaches 0.1 CBM. You do  not need to accumulate to 1 CBM for making a shipping order like with other forwarders.

• Shipping time: Parcels take around 12–14 days to arrive in Singapore after leaving our Guangzhou warehouse.

• GST (9%) applies: Based on the declared value of your parcel (in SGD), submitted by you via the User Center on our website.

  • GST = 9% × Declared Value

  • Example: If your parcel value is S$100, GST = S$9

• Total shipping cost = Shipping Fee + GST

  • Example: Shipping fee S$23 + GST S$9 = S$32 total

• Note: Cargo2SG collects GST and pays it directly to Singapore Customs. Customers are responsible for accurately declaring parcel values.

Air Shipping with Cargo2SG – Key Info

• No first-kg surcharge: Unlike other forwarders, Cargo2SG does not charge extra for the first kilogram.

• Fees for “normal” goods and “sensitive” goods are different.

• We frequently update shipping fees. Thus, please WhatsApp us to request the latest shipping fee information.  

• Parcel weight rounding: Air parcels are charged by actual or dimensional weight, rounded up to the nearest kg (e.g., 11.4 kg = 12 kg).

• Free consolidation & packing: We consolidate and pack your air parcels at no extra cost, even if the final packed weight is slightly higher due to packing materials.

• Weight calculation: Each parcel is individually weighed at our warehouse. The total chargeable weight of a consolidated package is based on the sum of all individual parcel weights, not the final packed weight.

How it works

• Cargo2SG receives your parcels at this Guangzhou warehouse.
• The arrival of your parcels will be updated with size and weight information in your user center on the Cargo2SG website.
•  You can then request to have your parcels packed, consolidated, and shipped to Singapore after declaring the contents and value of your parcels and paying the shipping fee, including the GST.
